MORPHOLOGY ADDITIVES

MORPHOLOGY

Morphology covers properties such as the presence, arrangement and size of crystalline or amorphous regions in the solid state of the polymer. In a solid polymer, there are two basic orders, namely amorphous structure and crystalline structure.

Melting Point (Tm), Glass Transition Temperature (Tg), Crystalline structure are important parameters affecting morphology.

TARGET BENEFIT OPTIONS OF MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES

SELECTION PARAMETERS FOR MORPHOLOGICAL ADDITIVES

  • Raw Material Formulation (Chemical/Physical interaction)
  • Main Raw Material Type and Content
  • Resin Selection (Density / Melt Index)
  • Types of Additives Used (Slip, AB, UV, FR,)
  • Process Conditions (Temperature, pressure...)
  • Use and rate of inorganic additives
  • Process Cooling Type and speed
  • PCR and Inhouse Recycle Usage Rate
  • Shooting and Orientation process parameters

KOREN MORPHOLOGICAL ADDİTİVES

KOREN Morphology Additives, such as the Enron and Curve series, mostly add value to the Final Product and partially benefit the Process.
